Ben Vorlich and Stuc a' Chroin Route

  1. Park just west of the hump-backed bridge at Ardvorlich (NN 632 232)
  2. Follow the track south through Ardvorlich by the river
  3. When the path splits take the right-hand fork up the north ridge to the summit
  4. Head west then south-west to Bealach an Dubh Choirein
  5. Continue south-west from the bealach and then scramble up to the northernmost cairn on Stuc 'a Chroin
  6. From there head south to the summit
  7. We descended west then north to about NN 615 181 then headed roughly north-east-by-north to rejoin our approach route but I wouldn't recommend you do the same. My companion ended up on his arse two or three times because of the ice. ;-)
