Binnein Shuas Route
- Park at the layby near Luiblea on the A86 in Glen Spean (NN 433 830)
- Cross over the bridge and follow the well-maintained path past the reservoir (NN 454 807) to the southern edge of Lochan na h-Earba
- Continue roughly north-east-by-north beside the loch and cross over at the bridge between the two halves (NN 488 841)
- Slog your way west-south-west through the tussocky grass towards Binnein Shuas
- When the character of the hill changes from soft grass to bare rock you will simply have to pick the route you think is best!
- Descend to the col between Binnein Shuas and head up the grassy slopes of Binnein Shios and then drop back down to the bridge
- Head back along the approach route to the road
NB - This is not intended to be a full and complete route description, merely a representation of the general route taken to take the accompanying photographs. Please remember that hillwalking is a potentially dangerous activity and that there is no substitute for adequate skills in navigation by map and compass.
