Aonach Eagach Route
- Start from the path by the Allt-na-reigh (NN 176 566) and follow the obvious path all the way to the summit of Am Bodach
- The descent off Am Bodach is pretty steep but not difficult so climb down and follow the ridge to Meall Dearg
- From there, scramble your way along the ridge. The best of it is over by the time you start the ascent of Stob Coire Leith
- From Stob Coire Leith you have any easy climb up to Sgorr nam Fiannaidh
- From Fiannaidh, drop to the col on the way to Sgorr na Ciche (the Pap of Glencoe) and follow the path back down to the road.
- You have a long walk back to the start point from here unless you arrange transport!
NB - This is not intended to be a full and complete route description, merely a representation of the general route taken to take the accompanying photographs. Please remember that hillwalking is a potentially dangerous activity and that there is no substitute for adequate skills in navigation by map and compass.
