Beinn a' Chlachair, Ben Alder and Beinn Bheoil Route

  1. Day One

    1. Park near the bridge over the River Spean (NN 432 829)
    2. Cross the bridge and follow the track to Lochan na h-Earba then take the path by Allt Coire Pitridh to Loch a' Bhealaich Leamhain
    3. Head up to the east top of Beinn a' Chlachair and then continue on to the summit, returning the same way back to the track by the loch
    4. Continue on the track towards Loch Pattack, fording the Allt Cam on the way. Turn right at the junction by the loch to go to Culra bothy
  2. Day Two

    1. From Culra bothy take the track though Bealach Dubh and head up Meall an t-Slugain. From there simply plod your way up the loooong but gentle slope to the Ben Alder summit
    2. Head around Garbh Choire to Sron Bealach Beithe then descend south-east to Bealach Breabag
    3. Ascend north-east to the south top of Beinn Bheoil, then more northerly to the summit itself
    4. Head north-north-east down the ridge before turning west to meet the track back to the bothy
  3. Day Three

    1. Follow the track towards Loch Pattack, take the left junction for the path to and then alongside Allt Cam all the way to Dubh Lochan
    2. Once the path disappears keep heading west until the river turns north
    3. Cross the river to join the track north past the ruin (Lubvan) and back to the car park
