Stob Ghabhar and Stob a' Choire Odhair Route

  1. Start at the car park near Victoria Bridge
  2. Cross Victoria Bridge and follow the track beside the Abhainn Shira to a small hut
  3. Head north along the path on the east side of the Allt Toaig
  4. The path splits just after you cross the Allt Caolain Duibh. Take the right-hand fork up a broad ridge and follow it to the summit of Stob a' Choire Odhair
  5. Descend west to the bealach between Stob a' Choire Odhair and Stob Ghabhar
  6. Continue west for a bit and then head south-west up steeper ground to the Aonach Eagach ridge
  7. Follow the ridge west and it will lead you to the bottom of the final ascent to the summit of Stob Ghabhar
  8. Head down the south-east ridge and cross the Allt Toaig to meet the path on the east side
  9. Follow the path back to the hut, east to Forest Lodge, over the Victoria Bridge and back to the car park
