Glen Finnan Routes

  1. Streap - Day One

    1. Assuming you're staying at the bothy ...
    2. Head north-east from the bothy to the footbridge at NM 917 849
    3. Cross the bridge, skirt around the trees, and make your way up to Bealach Coire nan Cearc
    4. Climb Stob Coire nan Cearc and then follow the ridge along and scramble up the last wee bit to the summit of Streap
    5. Descend north-north-east to the Allt Cuirnean and then turn south-west and climb up to Bealach a' Chaorainn (NM 942 868)
    6. Follow the track for about another four kilometres back to the bothy
  2. The Corryhully Horseshoe - Day Two

    1. Again starting at the bothy ...
    2. Set off north-east to the footbridge over the river at NM 921 855
    3. Just past the bridge follow a path heading up Druim Coire a' Beithe, eventually turning north to the summit of Sgurr Thuilm
    4. Drop down south-west then go west to the 858m top and from there continue on around the ridge, over Beinn Garbh and Meall an Tarmachain to Sgurr nan Coireachan
    5. Descend over Sgurr a' Choire Riabhaich to meet the path that joins your approach route and then return to the start
