Beinn Narnain, Beinn Ime and The Cobbler Route

  1. Start at the Succoth car park near Arrochar (NN 294 049)
  2. Cross the road and enter the woods then follow the steep path straight up the hillside past Creag an Fhithich and Cruach nam Miseag. The path levels out briefly before you continue over The Spearhead to the summit.
  3. Go west-north-west from the summit to Bealach a' Mhaim, cross the fence at the stile and climb the long slope to the huge summit cairn of Beinn Ime
  4. From there, retrace your steps back down to Bealach a' Mhaim and pick-up the well-maintained path up The Cobbler near Lochan a' Chlaidheimh
  5. From the summit, wander over to the north peak if you like, then return to the bealach and follow the path down to and past the Narnain Boulders, alongside the Allt a' Bhalachain (take the right-hand fork when the path splits at the dam) and all the way back to the car park
